Medical writing and publishing has become an important part of everybody´s professional development. Not only researchers but every gynaecological oncologist should be familiar with the field of scientific papers and how to present findings.
After completion of the course participants will better understand publishing process and different types of publications. They will also know how to write scientific paper, prepare lecture, abstract and poster.

Postgraduate medical training programmes in many European countries have already been changed according to new concepts, such as competency-based education and assessment for learning. The idea that trainees are in charge of their own training, in combination with continuous assessment and updating of the training programme, has shown to especially improve and optimize many postgraduate medical training programmes.
Trainees who are trained according to these modern concepts are capable of using these concepts throughout their career facilitating the phenomenon of ‘life long learning’. This will lead to highly trained specialists for whom keeping their skills and knowledge up-to-date and up to the expected standard is a way of life.
Laparoscopic Surgery in Cadavers Applied to Gyneacological Oncology, Madrid, Spain

A good knowledge of pelvic anatomy is essential to becoming a skilful gynaecological oncology surgeon and the ability to undertake advanced laparoscopic surgery is an essential trainee need to acquire for providing the expected standard of care.
This course was focused on providing an in depth understanding of surgical anatomy, as well as hands on cadaveric advanced laparoscopic training for trainees in gynaecological oncology. It is exclusive as it uses cadavers fixed with Thiel technique for imparting training.

Surgical anatomy and abdominal procedures in oncology are a major area of need in training, according to an ENYGO survey of gynaecological oncology trainees in Europe. This workshop provided the possibility to learn the theoretical background and step-by-step open surgical techniques in gynaecologic onkology as well as the state-of-the-art theoretical lectures combined with extensive hands-on training on well preserved cadavers.
ENYGO Teach the Teachers & Complications in Oncogynecology Workshop, Rome, Italy

The idea that trainees are in charge of their own training, in combination with continuous assessment and updating of the training program, has shown to improve and optimize many postgraduate medical training programs.
Attendees will become familiar with the most common complications of treatment in oncogynecology after surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy and choice up-to-date treatment of these cases.
