The Short Clinical Visit (SCV) programme is a new ENYGO project specially designed to improve patient care through education and training, research, and the sharing of experience between ESGO member nations. The main aim of the programme is to facilitate fellowship via a 3–5-day exchange programme that creates links within the gynaecological oncology community and makes it possible to share knowledge and new technologies. The programme’s clinical bases are selected from ESGO accredited centers that are focused on special interest areas. The SCV programme is open to ESGO members who are willing to take a fellowship in a recognised ESGO accredited centers but don’t have the opportunity to complete a longer period of stay.

Please note that there is a £150.00 observership fee (to be paid at diretly to the hospital) - these costs will be reimboursed to the participants after the visit.

General information:

Attendance to the course is limited to 6 participants.

Applications will be treated on a first-come-first-served basis, with respect to geographical balance of countries and regions as well as the level of experience judged by the committee, according to the brief description of professional background provided to the jury. 

Travel

The Attendees are responsible for their own travel arrangements.

Accommodation

  • Accommodation for 3 nights in a single room in London, UK in a standard hotel in the vicinity of the Queen Charlotte's & Chelsea Hospital will be arranged by ESGO.
